THE FINE PRINT - READ THIS PLEASE.
Please note week rentals include all equipment for a single run. Surfski, paddle, leash and lifevest, but we still encourage bringing you rown equipment. Renters are responsible for any repair/replacement costs associated to damaged equipment. Ensure you rent a vehicle that has well spaced racks if you intend driving with the ski to other destinations, we suggest the four door Jeep with hard top.
Please complete this Booking and Waiver form and email or fax to me to confirm your surfski rental.
NOTE - The Rack is now located at 5-5075 Kuhio Highway together with the NaPali Kayak Co.
For those who want to try something a little more challenging, and for experienced paddlers who want to take advantage of the brilliant Hawaiian conditions you've come to the right place. We offer private surfski tuition for anyone who wants to take it to the next level.
We meet on the beautiful Hanalei river and run through safety and briefing right on the river bank. Balance and stroke perfection are achieved on the river before heading out into the glorious Hanalei bay to master some wave and swell riding technique.
For those experienced paddlers visiting Kauai you're in luck. Kauai offers pristine coastline with a downwind run almost everyday somewhere on the island. Being the mobile outfit that we are we provide downwind options island wide from our base on the north shore right around to the south. Special outings down to the west side can be arranged.
All paddlers get a custom fitted FENN surfski, with a leash, a FENN paddle and PFD. Course information is given to paddlers at the pre-run briefing.
Distances will vary depending on course and paddling abilities. Generally no less the 7 miles.
It is recommended that you bring your own, life jacket (if you have one) hydration system (available for rent if you forget), good sunblock, sunglasses, long sleeve rash vest (mainly for sun protection, not cold!) and a good sense of humor.
